Crossfit
In its true definition, “CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.” But, in its practical, everyday life application definition, it’s hands-on fitness at its finest.
Good CrossFit is where the coaches are experts in fitness and care about you and your fitness journey, and we invest ourselves in helping you reach your goals. It also provides ‘built-in’ training partners (aka gym buddies) by having you work out in a group setting. CrossFit is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. But, fair warning, once you try it, you may never want to go to the “other gyms” again!
In addition to our Monday through Saturday CrossFit classes, we also offer Endurance Club on Sundays, which feature a heavier emphasis on longer cardio sessions and – weather permitting – running.
nutrition
It is often said that your fitness level is 20% your activity and 80% the things you put in your mouth. And we don’t disagree. To help you really understand the power of nutrition in your quest to get healthier, we offer 1-on-1 nutrition services, as well as occasional group challenges and education.
Personal training
Working 1-on-1 with a coach is the quickest way to the results you want. When you sign up for Personal Training with us, you’re signing up for a unique program specifically for your current fitness level. Our Coaches will track your progress over the course of your sessions and design drills and workouts specifically for you.
We recommend you take advantage of at least one Personal Training session per week or month along with your Group Classes to ensure maximum results.
Special Events
Outside of our core classes at Big Dane, you’ll find other special programs and events throughout the year. From guest clinics on mobility and injury prevention, to clinics that dive deep into specific CrossFit skills…from community potlucks to in-house competitions…our events calendar always has opportunities to grow, learn, and have fun in community with your fellow members.
