Owner/Head Coach Barrett Danz has been CrossFitting for seven years and specializes in anything that involves a barbell. He grew up playing sports and knew early the benefits of a strong, healthy, fit body. After college, he tried "just about everything," including powerlifting, bodybuilding, Olympic lifting and endurance training. "When I started CrossFit, I loved that it was the perfect marriage of all these specialties and more," he says.
Barrett has been coaching for more than 10 years. Before becoming a CrossFit coach, he coached a high school strength and conditioning program as well as powerlifting. "I love helping my athletes see their true potential," he says. "So many people start here not believing in themselves. Slowly but surely, we are able to show them that they can do these movements and do them well! That confidence and empowerment that our athletes experience in the gym carries over into their everyday life!"
